About The Card

This design came out of a trip to Italy, or more precisely, the very exciting anticipation of one. In the lead-up, citrus fruits kept pulling focus, and lemons in particular just felt right. Very right. The card has lemons in a flowing single bunch, trailing down the card like a branch or a small, sun-drenched lemon tree. Around them, a deep green (not too bright, not too dark, just perfect) with blush freesias tucked in amongst the lemons. The freesias were being painted at the time because a close friend was getting married that year, and their flowers were so inspiring they found their way naturally into the design. A small scattering of pink strawberries appears among the arrangement, bringing a little extra sweetness to the whole thing. Fresh, pretty, and just a little bit Italian countryside.

A lovely everyday card for any occasion: birthday, thank you, just because, or a beautifully fitting card for someone who is heading off on an adventure. Part of the lemon-themed collection alongside Lady Lemon and Strawberry Fields.
