The word "DAD" runs vertically down the card in an outlined watercolour serif, hand painted in deep green with the natural variation of the watercolour adding depth and lightness to each letterform. Sprouting from behind each letter is a lush arrangement of Australian leaves, gum leaves and silver dollar leaves in shades of sap green, bluey grey and deep green, with tiny gum nuts and a few yellow leaves adding warmth and a little surprise.
