About the Card
Watercolour pink bottlebrush blooms sit alongside green stems and leaves, with small yellow bees moving through the design. The words "Happy Birthday" are hand lettered at the centre, warm and unhurried. A card that feels like home, wherever home happens to be.
Moving out of home has a way of opening your eyes to things that were always there. Growing up, the bottlebrush was red, bold and familiar. It wasn't until walking the streets of a new neighbourhood that softer, unexpected colours began to appear, creamy whites and deep pinks that felt like a quiet discovery. This birthday card was painted from those streets.
