Happy Birthday Dragonfly

The design features a repeat pattern of two dragonflies, one with a deep navy body and soft blue wings, the other in warm orange with delicate outlined wings. The words "Happy Birthday" are hand lettered in capital text in a deep blue at the centre of the card. Thoughtful and quietly meaningful, this is a card that works beautifully for the people in your life who appreciate something a little different.

Dragonflies have a way of appearing at the right moment. This card was painted during a period of grief, in the weeks after losing an uncle, when dragonflies kept showing up in the quietest and most unexpected places. In many cultures they carry meaning, symbols of good luck, transformation and the presence of those no longer here. This card was born from that time.
