About The Card

This card came from a book. While reading, a luna moth was mentioned, and the immediate assumption was that it was fictional. It is not. Luna moths are real, they are extraordinary, and the moment one was discovered, the only logical response was to paint it. This card pairs the luna moth, in its beautiful greeny-teal, with a flowing arrangement of watercolour daisies: creamy petals, yellow centres, lovely green leaves winding through the design. The moths drift through in flight, their soft wings catching the light in that way watercolour always does. The palette is simple and restrained: green, cream, yellow, and it works beautifully. Joyful without being loud. Charming without trying too hard.
