About The Card

This is a hand-painted watercolour scene of poppies at their best: blush, warm red, soft orangey-red, all painted with that beautiful softness that watercolour does so well. Some flowers are wide open, petals fully unfurled. A couple of buds are just cracking open, that little peek of colour starting to push through. And buzzing around the whole scene are some bees, doing exactly what bees do in a poppy field: absolutely thriving. Lots of white space surrounds the arrangement, giving it a clean, fresh feeling that lets the flowers breathe.
